Programs & Services
The Fairhope-Point Clear Rotary Youth Programs, Inc. “Rotary Youth Club” offers a safe and affordable place to send its community’s youth during the summer and after school. It provides a positive environment for these youth to learn life skills so that
they can become productive members of society.
Studies show that children “who are unsupervised during the hours after school are more likely to use
alcohol, drugs, tobacco . . . , receive poor grades, and drop out of school
than those children who have the opportunity to benefit from constructive
activities supervised by responsible adults” (U.S. Department of Justice, 2000). In addition to simply providing a safe, healthy environment for the youth, the
club’s goal is to engage the youth in enriching activities that will enable them to
achieve success in all aspects of their lives. This is accomplished through our
